Festival Week

16th to 24th June 2012.  Full details of over 100 Festival events are available in our programme which is now on sale at Sherrys, Williams, Swakeleys Estates, Tichenham Inn, Ickenham Library, Mace,  Euros, Village Cards, Bikewise and other outlets.

Here is just a brief summary (click on links to book for ticketed events):

• Open gardens – 20 local residents open their gardens to the public

• Music – daily in St Giles Church, concert performances in pubs and halls, Sing-alongs

• Folk event at Ickenham Hall, Folk Ceilidh in Village Hall

• Art on display around village, library and gardens

• Sports - Ickenham Youth Football, Tennis Club, Bowls Club, Open sports evening

• Local History Walk, Natural History Walk, Family Ramble, Treasure Hunt

• Theatre at the Compass, Stand-up comedy at Comedy Bunker

• Daily programme of events at Library and Churches, opening and closing services

• Four local pubs running a full week of events, promotions, quizzes, Morris dancers!

• Gala Day 23rd June

• Rounders, Cycle Ride, Duck Race.
