Band and BBQ at The Fox: Sat 11th, all day
Come to an all day event at the Fox & Geese.  On the first day of the Ickenham Festival 40th anniversary we are celebrating, the Festival, the Queen's 90th Birthday (watch the flypast from the garden),

England's first Euros 2016 game against Russia (kick-off at 8 p.m).

The fantastic local band the Buzz Lightweights round off the evening. BBQ is available all day from 12:00 noon.

Danny Champion of the World: Sun 12th, 2:30pm

Ickenham Festival team brings you an outdoor performance by Equity-Compliant Illyria. This funny and heartwarming performance is perfect for the whole family.

Bring your own picnic, chairs and blankets. The Compass coffee shop will be open for refreshments. Compass Theatre, UB10 8PD.  Free entry.

Teddy Bears Picnic: Mon 13th, 12am-2pm

For toddlers and their teddies. Bring a picnic for fun and games with Patticake Parties. The Buntings Gardens, Boniface Road UB10 8DQ .  Free entry

History Talk: Mon 13th, 7:15pm

Arranged by The Festival, an illustrated talk given by popular local historian Eileen Bowlt, lasting about one hour.

Natural History Talk: Tues 14th, 7:15pm

An illustrated talk given by local naturalist Colin Bowlt, lasting about one hour.

Sports Fun: Wed 15th, 5pm-8pm

An evening of sporting fun, whether you are 7 or 70 years young there will be something to challenge you. Various

sports bases include our famous human football table! Refreshments and ice creams will be available.

History Walk: Wed 15th, 7:15pm

A tour of historic Ickenham with glimpses of Metro-Land. Led by Richard Piper, wear sensible footwear and not

suitable for buggies. Ickenham Pump, UB10 8L, Free

Family Ramble: Thurs 16th June, 7pm

An off road walk. Sensible shoes, good dogs on leads and unsuitable for buggies.

Finishing with BBQ at 1st Ickenham Scouts, Community Close. Ickenham Pump, UB10 8LJ, Free

 

Comedy Bunker: Fri 17th June, 8pm

An evening of comedy headlined by Kerry Godliman, as appeared on ‘Derek’ and ‘Live at the Apollo’. Over 18s.

Duck Race: Sun 19th June, 4pm

The ducks will be dropped into the River Pinn at the footbridge between the Copthall Roads and will race

downstream to Swakeleys Road bridge. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.

Ducks (£2)  will be sold throughout Festival week.   River Pinn, Copthall Road
